KISC 2022

Scouts Canada has opened a Contingent event for summer 2022, in Kandersteg, Switzerland. This is a 10 day trip that opens up tons of new possibilities. We would be camping in a valley in the Alps, with many youth from all over the world.  We have some of our Scouts / Scouters that have expressed interest in this trip, and we wanted to share some of the details with you all.

The Kandersteg trip is held on Monday, July 4 –> Thursday, July 14, 2022. (10 camping nights). It’s open to all Scouts and Venturers (10 to 22 yrs olds) The cost for the event, including everything (Flights, a day trip to Italy and lots of swag) for the 10 days comes to $3,450.

We would need to secure our spots very soon. If your Scout wants to attend, please email Scouter Marc. marcsworlds@gmail.com

Here is the website of the site we would be staying at: https://www.kisc.ch

THE COST

The values outlined below are estimated costs. We currently estimate a total of $3450 per Scout, but this may increase/decrease as more information becomes available. If there is a surplus, the leftover monies may be refunded to families or held in trust to offset future camp fees

*$900- Registration per person (includes Contingent fee, meals at camp, site fees and facilities access)

*$1500- Flights and transport for the trip

*$1050- Other (Food cost during travel, Trains, Program, shirts / crests, Pre-camp)

Deposit and Payment plan
Missing payment deadlines may result in the Scout not being permitted to attend KISC 2022 and/or forfeiting all funds earmarked for their registration. If non-refundable payments have been made, the amount of monies refunded will be less these expenses.

*Post dated cheques preferred. Other payment arrangements may be made. Fundraising may reduce the number of installments required, therefore participation in fundraising is mandatory for youth and Scouters. If the youth/Scouter has already been participating in fundraising for PJ, the payment schedule will be amended for that individual.
